FP Plumbing

What we offer

Residential plumbing, done right.

13 years of experience across the GTA — every service below is one we perform regularly, not occasionally. We know what we're doing because we've done it hundreds of times.

Emergency Plumbing24/7

Available 24 hours · 7 days a week · Holidays included

When water is going where it shouldn't, every minute counts. FP Plumbing answers every emergency call directly — no answering service, no call-back tomorrow. We respond to burst pipes, flooding, sewage backups, sudden loss of hot water, and anything else that can't wait until morning.

Common situations

  • Burst or frozen pipes
  • Overflowing toilet or bathtub
  • Sewage backup
  • Sudden loss of hot water
  • Flooding from appliance failure
  • Gas smell near water heater

Drain Cleaning & Unclogging

Kitchen · Bathroom · Main sewer line

Slow drains are rarely just an inconvenience — they're often early signs of a larger blockage or buildup. We clear clogs quickly and inspect for root intrusion, grease buildup, or structural issues that could become expensive problems if left untreated.

Common situations

  • Slow kitchen or bathroom drains
  • Complete blockages
  • Main sewer line clearing
  • Garbage disposal backups
  • Floor drain issues
  • Preventive drain maintenance

Water Heater Services

Repair · Replacement · Tankless installation

Whether your water heater is failing, inefficient, or simply overdue for replacement, we handle the full scope — from traditional tank units to high-efficiency tankless systems. We advise based on your household's actual hot water demand, not what's easiest to install.

Common situations

  • No hot water or lukewarm water
  • Water heater leaking
  • Rumbling or popping noises from tank
  • Water heater replacement
  • Tankless water heater installation
  • Annual flushing and maintenance

Faucet & Fixture Repair / Replacement

Kitchen · Bathroom · Utility

A dripping faucet wastes thousands of litres of water annually. A poorly installed fixture can cause hidden water damage. We repair and replace all faucet types, showerheads, toilets, bidets, and utility fixtures — done cleanly, correctly, and with respect for your finishes.

Common situations

  • Dripping or leaking faucets
  • Toilet running or not flushing properly
  • Showerhead replacement or pressure issues
  • Vanity faucet upgrades
  • Outdoor hose bibs
  • Fixture rough-in for renovations

Leak Detection & Pipe Repair

Hidden leaks · Pinhole leaks · Pipe corrosion

Hidden leaks can silently damage structural elements, encourage mould growth, and drive up water bills for months before becoming visible. We use targeted methods to locate and fix leaks with minimal disruption to your walls, floors, and finishes.

Common situations

  • Unexplained increase in water bill
  • Water stains on walls or ceilings
  • Musty smell near pipes
  • Pinhole leaks in copper or galvanized pipes
  • Pipe joint failures
  • Water pressure loss

Toilet Repair & Replacement

All toilet types · All issues

From a running toilet wasting water to a complete replacement upgrade, we handle every toilet-related service. We carry parts for all major brands and can typically diagnose and fix most issues in a single visit.

Common situations

  • Toilet running continuously
  • Weak flush or double-flush required
  • Toilet rocking or loose at floor
  • Toilet not filling
  • Full toilet replacement
  • Rough-in for new toilet location

Sump Pump Installation & Service

Spring protection · Year-round reliability

A failed sump pump during spring thaw or a heavy rainfall can mean thousands of dollars in basement damage. We install, service, and test sump pumps to ensure they'll perform when you need them most — and advise on battery backup systems for added peace of mind.

Common situations

  • Sump pump not working
  • Unusual noises from sump pump
  • New sump pump installation
  • Battery backup system installation
  • Annual testing and maintenance
  • Basement flooding after heavy rain

Repiping (Copper & PEX)

Whole-home · Partial · Material upgrades

Older homes often have galvanized steel or polybutylene pipes that corrode, restrict flow, and eventually fail. We repipe using copper or PEX-A — both code-compliant materials — and plan the work to minimize disruption to your home and daily routine.

Common situations

  • Galvanized or polybutylene pipe replacement
  • Frequent leaks at multiple locations
  • Discoloured or low-pressure water
  • Pre-sale home repiping
  • Partial repiping after leak repair
  • Material upgrade from old copper to PEX

Bathroom & Kitchen Renovation Rough-In

New builds · Additions · Full renovations

Getting the rough-in right is what determines whether the finished renovation looks and functions the way you envision it. We work directly with homeowners and general contractors to plan supply and drain locations, ensure proper venting, and meet all Ontario Building Code requirements.

Common situations

  • Bathroom addition or full renovation
  • Kitchen renovation — sink, dishwasher, garburator
  • Basement bathroom addition
  • New fixture locations
  • Coordination with tile and millwork contractors
  • Permit-ready plumbing plans

Backflow Prevention

Residential · Irrigation · Protection

Backflow prevention devices protect your home's potable water supply from contamination. We install and test backflow preventers on irrigation systems, outdoor hose bibs, and other potential cross-connection points — required in many GTA municipalities.

Common situations

  • Backflow preventer installation
  • Annual backflow testing (where required)
  • Irrigation system backflow protection
  • Pre-inspection testing for property sales
